Workshop ‘Wonders of Kaunas’ - 3 - 7 December 2007

Place: ‘Sesija’, a club of Vytautas Magnus University, S. Daukanto str. 27, Ground Floor. Participants: Artists’ group ‘Laundry’ (UK, www.laundryline.co.uk), students of the Art Institute and the Institute of Political Science and Diplomacy at Vytautas Magnus University, and students from the Institute of Polish Culture at Warsaw University. Workshop Schedule:

Monday, 3 December
18.00-21.00 participants’ meeting in the club ‘Sesija’. Grouping to 5 teams, self-presentation, choosing the areas to investigate in Kaunas, preparation for the work in the city.

Wednesday, 5 December
9.00 meeting in the club ‘Sesija’.
9.15-14.00 working in teams in the city, engaging with local people and collecting material about wonders of Kaunas.
17.00-18.00 feedback session in the club ‘Sesija’.

Thursday, 6 December
9.00-12.30 visualising and shaping the material collected, club ‘Sesija’.
13.30-20.00 visualising and shaping the material collected, club ‘Sesija’.

Friday, 7 December
9.30-17.30 making a show of work in progress in the space, club ‘Sesija’.
18.00-21.00 private view of work in progress to invited audience, ‘live’ evaluation.
